The only thing that keeps this place from being 5 stars is the space..it can feel cramped especially while ordering your food. Other than that this place can't hardly be beat. Food is hot and prepared well and is delicious.

Nice staff and decent food that arrived quickly.

Mostly just get take-out food, but their hoagies are delicious. The food is always ready when we get there....never have to wait. (Both locations)

Nick & I eat here frequently. The food is always amazing! My favorites are the steak hoagie and spaghetti with meatballs. Nick loves the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. If you’re in Bridgeport, this place is a MUST! Props to you, Gourmet Cafe.

I just had the chicken parm sandwich and shared a basket of waffle fries. Everything was fantastic. I always leave Gourmet Cafe full and happy. :)

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Bridgeport! Sadly, we moved away 4 years ago. This was the last place we ate at before leaving town. Highly recommend this cafe to anyone in the area.

The Giovanni was great ! I've only had sandwiches from here but they all were good. Counter-service so you refill your own drink.

We picked up a chicken salad sandwich yesterday.... Since this place received a lot of good reviews, we thought we would try it... Our sandwich was served on an old dried out, hard piece of white bread.There was no pickle as specified and only a very small bag of chips resting on top of the sandwich... It wasn't even edible.... I returned the meal and money was given backMaybe they just had an "off day" but I doubt if we will frequent the Gourmet Cafe...

We drive past one location to get to the other.

It's a tad pricey, but this is a quality stop along US Route 50. The steak hoagies are excellent as well as the waffle fries.

Really solid menu. Good food and friendly service. Parking can be troublesome and there is a step up into building, don't think it's handicap accessible.

Great food and very nice associates

I guess I should have gotten a sub. Potato soup was okay but too salty. My spaghetti with sausage, peppers, and sauce was not good: pasta cooked too long in unsalted water, and not drained well enough so there was a puddle of water on my plate. The peppers were clearly from a jar. The sausage was sort of grainy/mealy. The bread that came with the pasta was boring AND stale. Service was fast and friendly... so they've got that going for them.
